Community Health Forum: Understanding EEGs

Maine Coast Memorial Hospital will be hosting a Free Health Education event on understanding electroencephalogram (EEG) testing, Presented Jane Peasley, EEG Technician on Monday, June 13th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the MCMH Classroom.  (Door C)
EEGs measure and record the electrical activity of your brain to help diagnose and monitor a number of different disorders including epilepsy, sleep disorders, and complications from dementia.  While most EEG testing is done in a hospital setting, Maine Coast Memorial Hospital is the first in the state to offer Ambulatory EEG services that can be completed in your own home.
