18th Annual Schoodic Scramble to benefit health clinic

Proceeds from the Schoodic Scramble benefit the Eleanor Widener Dixon Memorial Clinic in Gouldsboro, an out-patient family practice of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.  Event proceeds from the previous year aided in the Clinic in purchasing new digital x-ray technology. Since 1997, over $200,000 in proceeds have been raised for facility improvements and medical equipment to further advance quality patient care.

Lead sponsors of the Scramble are Edith Dixon and Vicki & Alan Goldstein, with co-sponsors from Darling’s Chevrolet, Sorrento Dental Associates, Camden National Bank, Rooster Brother, Kelco Industries, Merrill Furniture, Dahl-Chase Pathology Associates, Winter Harbor Food Service and Stanley Scooters.

The tournament fee of $75 includes 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lobster stew, ice cream sundaes, wine, cheese, tournament hat, hole-in-one opportunity as well as prizes for men’s, ladies, and couples flights.
