A bright, cheery cafeteria for
family, friends and staff.
We are all judges of
good food and the places we choose to eat. When one is
describing their hospital stay almost always the
question is brought up- "How was the hospital food?"
The completion of
our Capital Project has brought on improvements in all
of the above at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. Quality,
nutrition and good taste are the order of the day thanks
to your support and the Noyes Foundation who made a
substantial grant to the cause. We invite you to come by
at anytime to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with us.
It is your cafeteria and we would love to have you
visit.

Bright and cheery, our brand new
cafeteria is a wonderful new facility.
Food Service
Wholesome, nourishing and
well-balanced meals are an important part of your
treatment and recovery. Maine Coast Memorial Hospital
makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are
prepared according to your doctors orders.
Patients are served breakfast at
approximately 8:00 a.m.; lunch at approximately 12 noon
and dinner at approximately 5:00 p.m. Occasionally your
meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special
test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served
after your examination or test.
Your breakfast tray will include a
menu from which you can order your meals for the next
day. Please mark your menu so it will be ready for
pickup. If you have difficulty making menu selections, a
Dietary Assistant will be happy to help you. If you are
on a special diet prescribed by your doctor, you will
receive menus tailored to your specific needs.
If a family member or friend wishes
to eat in your room with you, the person may go to the
cafeteria, buy a meal there and take it back to your
room.
