Health Fair

At the week two event on Jan. 11, 2007, Lose and Win will host a health fair for team participants.

Team members will have the opportunity to receive cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure screenings. They may have their body mass index calculated, receive a customized eating plan according to the New Food Pyramid, try new exercise equipment, have a massage and lots more. The health fair will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the Beechland Road.

Many volunteers will be giving their time for this event. There will be a charge of $10 for the cholesterol screenings; all other screenings will be free. Appointments are required for the cholesterol screening.

Details about the health fair will be included in the Lose and Win member packets.
