Two Holes in One Scored at the 11th Annual Schoodic Scramble
 

A wonderful weekend of golf on the the coast of Maine was highlighted by two holes-in-one at the Schoodic Scramble which is sponsored each year by Edith Dixon and Alan Goldstein in support of the Eleanor Widener Dixon Memorial Clinic in Gouldsboro.

Jeff Wooster aced hole 4 and later in the day Peter Daley followed that with a hole-in-one on hole 3 at the Grindstone Neck Golf Course.

Golfers were treated to lobster stew and ice cream sundaes to top off a picture perfect weekend of golf. The Scramble, described by golfers as the best tournament in the state, is run by a terrific group of volunteers under the direction of Tournament Director Dick Babcock who is assisted by Henry Ashmore.
