Union Trust Chefs Gala
$43,000+
net proceeds from the Gala for the Maine
Coast Memorial Hospital Breast Clinic.
$13,815 from “Hope”
Breast Cancer Awareness Scooter for
Mammogram Scholarships for our friends and
neighbors. Stanley Scooters donated
the pink scooter which was won by Jackie
Hodgdon of Seal Cove. Winning ticket
was sold at the Southwest Harbor Medical
Center.

enjoyed delectable fare provided by
over 20 local chefs.
Over 150
volunteers made this all possible
from the planning stages to construction and
presentation.

The scooter raffle netted $13,850 for
mammogram scholarships at Maine Coast
Memorial Hospital Breast Clinic. Above, Dr.
Tom Adams, Medical Director, of Southwest
Harbor Medical Center where the winning
ticket was sold congratulates Jackie along
with Mark Politte of Stanley Scooters who
donated the scooter to the Union Trust Gala.
Beautiful flowers and decorations were
presented by Mainely Vinyl. The evening was
complimented by The Bud Connection’s
creation of the Roaring 20s lobby and
Hancock Dental’s Powder Room. Terrence
Pinkham of Moto-Car provided a 1928 Pontiac
complete with rumble seat for photo shoots.
Churning up the skies above the Gala
Lindbergh’s The Spirit of St. Louis brought
a further ambience of the Roaring 20s.
