Women Care Tea
Maine Coast Women Care, a division of Maine
Coast Memorial Hospital, was buzzing with
activity during their September 20th tea.
While many of the moms were kept busy with
little ones scurrying around on the floor,
both new and future moms chatted about the
joys and struggles of pregnancy and
motherhood.
More than 20 people attended, including new
moms, expectant moms, babies, and even one
dad. The four MCWC midwives, support staff
and
 moms shared their parenting experiences
while the moms-to-be heard about the joys
and challenges awaiting them with both
excitement and apprehension.
The Maine Coast Women Care Tea is a monthly
event offering an informal time to share
experiences and provide ongoing support to
expectant and new mothers. The practice also
schedules pre-natal yoga classes and
breast-feeding clinics. Maine Coast Women
Care provides obstetric, gynecological and
well care to women of all ages. For more
