Volunteer Lifeline
Installer Irv Dunton reviews
salient points of Lifeline use
with a new subscriber — a push
of a button allows you to speak
to a Lifeline Center from any
room in your house — 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year.

End table safety always at the
ready so we can remain in our
homes with independence.

Your Personal Help Button is 100% waterproof and
we want you to wear it everywhere within your
home. |
This year
marks our twentieth year of offering a home
emergency call program. Begun in 1986 by
hospital auxiliary members, the service is
now quickly growing and is estimated to have
over 500 subscribers in 2007. Lifeline lets
one live with a measure of safety alone in
one’s home with the reassurance that if the
unexpected happens, help is only the push of
a button away. Serving people all over
Hancock and Washington Counties, Lifeline is
a cooperative alliance with Downeast
Community Hospital in Machias and Calais
Regional Hospital.
A bright future for lifeline – In the early
spring of 2006, Lifeline ownership was
embraced by one of the world’s leaders in
electronics and health care, Denmark Philips N.A. Philips will soon offer defibrillator
services and video monitoring at home, a
service that is already available in Europe.
Naturally, we are excited about the
prospects of offering more intensive and
extended possibilities for better care and
safety at home.
Live independently
in your own home with Maine Coast Lifeline, the
leading personal response service.
