- Starie L. Seay, MD, is a
member of the medical staff of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital
specializing in family medicine. Dr. Seay joined Susan
Ostertag, MD in the Ellsworth Family Medicine practice
located on the hospital’s Union Street Campus. Dr. Seay came
to Ellsworth from the Maine Dartmouth Family Practice in
Augusta where she served as that practice’s chief resident.
Dr. Seay’s special interest include adolescent health,
women’s health and domestic violence advocacy.
Dr. Seay fell in love with Maine while performing her
internship in Waterville. She and her husband enjoy the
rural life style, so when invited to practice in Ellsworth
it seemed a natural fit. She admires the vibrancy of the
area and its potential for growth. Dr. Seay looks forward to
serving the community with her family practice skills and
taking an active part in the area’s future. Her personal
interests include kayaking, skiing, hiking and yoga. She
also plays acoustic guitar and is learning to play the bass
guitar.
