Referred to many times as behind-the-scenes employees, this statement is a misnomer as they are, in fact, the most visible to both patients and employees.

Each service rail is known for offering the best in patient/customer service served up most often with caring good humor. They most always seem to be committed to making life better for us all. Many times this comes in the form of a reassuring interface with a patient while tidying up a room; other times it comes in the form of helping start a vehicle on a cold snowy night. We often hear of the patient or family member who has benefited from specially prepared meals made on a moment’s notice with a smile. Day after day they keep those rails in good repair and polished for our use.

For it is not lightly said that on each day at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital – no door will open for a cure, no patient will be healed and no loved one’s life preserved without their support.
