The last year has brought continued positive
change to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. With the completion of
the capital improvement project, the medical staff now has both
a new and more expansive OR as we ll as ICU in which to provide
state of the at medical care. Improvements on the
Medical-Surgical unit further enhance the environment for our
patients. In addition, the Radiology Department has enjoyed a
substantial expansion and updating.
The foundation of care at Maine Coast Memorial
Hospital continues to be its strong core of primary care and
general surgical physicians. This year we welcomed Dr. Amy Tan,
General Surgeon, a well as Dr. Sheena Whittaker, Pediatrics, to
our medical staff. Dr. Bradley Goldstein, MCMH’s first
Otolaryngology (ENT) specialist came on board. The productivity
of our primary care practitioners continued to excel in all
clinics. The medical staff continues to provide excellent
specialty care in the areas of Anesthesiology, Orthopedics,
Urology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Occupational
Medicine, Dermatology, and Pathology.
Despite this expansion, Maine Coast Memorial
Hospital continues to be a community hospital, providing
excellent medical care to lour friends and neighbors, to our
community - our patients- the people of Downeast Maine. The
medical staff looks forward to another great year.
