    New Infant Warmer Purchased for Maternity Unit

    Maine Coast Memorial Hospital has purchased a new Panda Infant Warmer with the helpful generosity of the Davis Family Foundation and the Volunteers of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. The new Panda Warmer is the third warmer available for use in the hospital, and the second with an integrated gas mixer.

    MCMH Upbeat After Tough Year

    The message at Tuesday night’s annual meeting was frank and sobering: expenses had exceeded revenues by $4.9 million over the past fiscal year. On the other hand, the spirit of the briskly paced session at Ellsworth High School was optimistic, even celebratory.

    23rd Annual Maine Coast Memorial Poinsettia Ball

    For the 23rd Annual Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Poinsettia Ball R. H. Foster, Machias Savings Bank, and WABI TV 5 come together to wish you a Merry and Bright holiday season. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at the Ellsworth Ramada. Albert and Barbara Harmon and Witham Family Properties will supply the poinsettias to erect the spectacular 16ft tall tree, this year made of nearly 500 pink poinsettias. The meal will be presented by Chipper’s Restaurant and Catering.

    CPR and First Aid Classes - Final 2014 Classes

    CPR will be offered Monday, October 27th, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. for a fee of $40 and First Aid training will be offered on Wednesday, October 29th, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. for a fee of $30. Both classes will be held in the Classroom (Door C) of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital at 50 Union Street in Ellsworth.
