    Community Health Forum New Year, New You: Making Healthy Food Choices

    Maine Coast Memorial Hospital will be hosting a Free Health Education event "New Year, New You: Making healthy Food Choices" presented by Amy Henderson MS, RD, LD; Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Nutrition Services Supervisor on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM in the MCMH Classroom. (Door C)January marks a new year and, for many, resolutions to make lifestyle changes – including diet. Making healthy food choices can be confusing with conflicting information and fad diets getting press, so join us to learn more about making choices that are not only good for you, but taste good, too.     Twenty-Fifth Annual Poinsettia Ball

    Maine Coast Memorial Hospital thanks everyone who contributed to the success of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Poinsettia Ball, held on December 3, 2016.  The continued support of presenting sponsors R.H. Foster Energy and Machias Savings Bank, the generous funding from over 150 community donors, the countless hours worked by our over 130 volunteers, and the support of the Ellsworth Ramada make this event possible.   

    Community Health Forum: Foot and Ankle Pain

    Dr. Paul Benoit of Frenchman Bay Orthopedics will present a free orthopedic health forum, “Foot and Ankle Pain – Causes and Treatments” on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the classroom at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.    This forum will discuss both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for foot and ankle pain, as well as causes, and have time for questions and answers.     A light dinner will be served at this event.   Please call 207-664-5337 or register online to reserve a seat.
