Nineteenth Annual Schoodic Scramble Fundraiser

7/29/2016

Proceeds from the Schoodic Scramble benefit the Eleanor Widener Dixon Memorial Clinic in Gouldsboro, a family practice clinic of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.   Funds raised will be used to outfit a new patient care room.  Since 1997, over $200,000 in proceeds have been raised for facility improvements and medical equipment to further advance quality patient care.

Presenting sponsors of the Schoodic Scramble are Edith Dixon and Vicki & Alan Goldstein, with featured sponsors from Darling’s Chevrolet, Sorrento Dental Associates, the First National Bank, Winter Harbor Food Service, Rooster Brother, Kelco Industries, Dahl-Chase Pathology Associates, Merrill Furniture, Garbo Lobster, and Stanley Scooters.

Friday, July 29, 2016 is the 125-year anniversary celebration of the Grindstone Neck golf course. Built in 1891, Grindstone Neck is one of the 100 oldest golf courses in the nation. Grindstone Neck Association has donated the use of the golf course for this valuable fundraiser for the clinic for nineteen years.
