    Ellsworth and Brewer, Maine – (February 12, 2015) – Maine Coast Memorial Hospital and EMHS (Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems) have approved a definitive agreement to form a strategic alignment in which Maine Coast Memorial Hospital and all of its affiliated clinics and outpatient services will be integrated into EMHS. The organizations had signed a non-binding letter of intent August 4, 2014.

    Stanley Subaru on Tuesday presented a check for $3,210 to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital’s Breast Health Clinic. The money was raised during the auto dealer’s 15th anniversary in October when, as part of the celebration, the dealership dedicated $15 for every test drive taken all month directly to diagnostic testing at Maine Coast Memorial. People from as far as Winthrop, Mass., took test drives to support local Maine cancer care.

    New Infant Warmer Purchased for Maternity Unit

    Maine Coast Memorial Hospital has purchased a new Panda Infant Warmer with the helpful generosity of the Davis Family Foundation and the Volunteers of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. The new Panda Warmer is the third warmer available for use in the hospital, and the second with an integrated gas mixer.

    For the 23rd Annual Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Poinsettia Ball R. H. Foster, Machias Savings Bank, and WABI TV 5 come together to wish you a Merry and Bright holiday season. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at the Ellsworth Ramada. Albert and Barbara Harmon and Witham Family Properties will supply the poinsettias to erect the spectacular 16ft tall tree, this year made of nearly 500 pink poinsettias.     CPR and First Aid Classes - Final 2014 Classes
